JKSSB Reschedules Skill Test (Type Test) Examination for Kashmiri Candidates

The Jammu and Kashmir Services Selection Board (JKSSB) has announced a new date for the Skill Test (Type Test) for candidates based in Kashmir. Originally slated for April 30, 2024, at NIELIT Srinagar, the test was postponed according to the JKSSB office’s letter No. JKSSB-COEOEXAM(UT)/59/2023-04 (7257759) dated April 29, 2024. The rescheduled date for the test is now June 5, 2024, at the same venue, NIELIT Srinagar.

Candidates should note that the admit cards issued for the initial date will remain valid for the new date. This means there is no need for candidates to procure new admit cards for the rescheduled test. It is crucial for all candidates to appear for the test on the rescheduled date, as JKSSB has stated that no further opportunities will be provided to those who miss the Type Test on June 5, 2024.

Meanwhile, the schedule for the Type Test for Jammu-based candidates remains unchanged. These tests will proceed as originally planned, with no alterations.

Candidates are advised to make the necessary arrangements and prepare accordingly for the new date. Ensuring that all documents and preparations are in place will be key to a smooth examination process. The JKSSB’s decision to reschedule the test aims to accommodate unforeseen circumstances and ensure that all candidates have a fair opportunity to participate.
