JKSSB Admit Cards Issuance for OMR Based Written Examination for Various Posts

The Jammu and Kashmir Services Selection Board (JKSSB) has announced the issuance of Admit Cards for the upcoming OMR Based Written Examination scheduled to be held on 23rd May 2024. This examination encompasses various posts, providing a crucial opportunity for candidates aspiring to secure government positions in the region. The admit cards will be available for download on the official JKSSB website starting from 18th May 2024, 4:00 PM onwards.

How to Download Your JKSSB Admit Card

Candidates can access their admit cards by visiting the JKSSB’s official website, [www.jkssb.nic.in](http://www.jkssb.nic.in). The process is straight forward and requires the following steps:
1. Visit the official website and locate the ‘Download E-Admit Card’ option on the homepage.
2. Click on the ‘LOGIN’ button and enter your login credentials, which include your E-mail ID and Date of Birth in the format DDMMYYY.
3. Verify your basic details displayed on the screen. In case of any discrepancies, candidates should contact the helpdesk immediately.
4. Once verified, click on the ‘View and Print E-Admit Card’ button.
5. Ensure to print a clear copy of the E-Admit Card, which is mandatory to bring on the day of the examination.

Important Details and Instructions

Candidates must read the instructions on the admit card carefully to avoid any issues on the examination day. The JKSSB has set up a Help Desk to assist candidates facing difficulties in downloading the admit card or encountering other related issues. The Help Desk can be contacted via phone at 0191-2461335 (Jammu) and 0194-2435089 (Srinagar) or through email at helpdesk.jkssb@gmail.com. This service will be active from 18th May 2024 to 23rd May 2024 during office hours.

Examination Guidelines

The JKSSB emphasizes that there will be negative marking in the examination, with a deduction of 1/4th of the allotted marks for each incorrect answer. Candidates are advised to answer carefully to avoid unnecessary loss of marks. The detailed criteria for selection and the syllabus for the posts are available on the JKSSB website.

Candidature and Conduct

The JKSSB reserves the right to cancel the candidature of any individual found to be ineligible at any stage of the selection process. Misrepresentation, concealment of material facts, impersonation, or fraud will result in cancellation and disciplinary action as deemed appropriate.
