JKBOPEE Announces Admit Card Download and Exam Instructions for CET 2024 for B.E./B.Tech Engineering Courses

The Jammu and Kashmir Board of Professional Entrance Examinations (JKBOPEE) has released an important notification regarding the Common Entrance Test (CET) for B.E./B.Tech Engineering Courses-2024. This test is scheduled to be conducted at various Government and Private Institutions across the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir.

Key Dates and Information:

1. Admit Card Availability:

– Date: From 5th June 2024, 11:30 AM onwards

2. Date of Examination:

– Date: 9th June 2024 (Sunday)
– Time: 10:00 AM to 01:00 PM

Instructions for Candidates:

  • Admit Card and Identification:
  • Candidates must download their admit cards from the official BOPEE website.
  • Affix a recent passport-size photograph on the admit card if it is not already there.
  • Carry a valid photo ID for identification, such as Aadhar Card, Pan Card, Driving License, Passport, College ID, or Employer ID in original.

Tentative Schedule for Examination Day:

  • 08:45 AM: Reporting time at the Examination Centre(s)/College(s).
  • 09:25 AM: Reporting time in the Examination Hall(s).
  • 09:30 AM: Invigilators will verify each candidate’s identity by comparing their facial appearance with the photograph on the admit card and the attendance sheet. The Centre Supervisor will also verify identities to ensure no impersonation cases.
  • 09:45 AM: Distribution of OMR Answer Sheets. Candidates should read the instructions on the sheet and fill in their details.
  • 09:55 AM: Distribution of Question Booklets. Candidates must enter the Question Booklet number on the OMR Answer Sheet.
  • 10:00 AM: Candidates can break the seal of the Question Booklet and start answering questions.
  • 01:00 PM: Candidates must stay in their seats, hand over the original OMR Answer Sheet to the Invigilator, take the Question Booklet and the OMR candidate’s copy, and leave the hall only when instructed.

Additional Tips:

– Arrive at the examination center well before the reporting time to avoid any last-minute rush.
– Ensure you carry all necessary documents, including your admit card and a valid photo ID.
– Follow the instructions provided by the invigilators and supervisors carefully.
– Do not bring any prohibited items into the examination hall.
